Sport for Development (S4D) strengthens the capacities of governmental and non-governmental organizations, as well as regional and national stakeholders, to foster youth development and social cohesion in the Western Balkans.
In Montenegro, the S4D Youth Ambassadors are implementing initiatives that focus on improving youth employability and enhancing soft skills through sport. These activities are equipping young people with the essential competencies they need for their future careers, providing them with more opportunities for personal and professional development.
The programme also facilitates regional cooperation and reconciliation. In collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Montenegro and the Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO), S4D is supporting a regional summer camp that will bring together young people to foster dialogue, leadership, and inclusion through sport.
Furthermore, regional capacity-building opportunities, such as Training of Trainers and networking events, are being offered to professionals from the youth and sport sectors to continue strengthening Montenegro’s role in regional collaboration and social development through sport. Through these efforts, S4D continues to empower youth, build stronger communities, and enhance regional cooperation.
